The Reflections fountain has become a central gathering location and hallmark of the Capital University campus. It has become a popular site for campus-wide celebrations, concerts, studying and gatherings. Carefully sited and designed, the fountain is a centerpiece for the campus and flanks a key north-south pedestrian path, making it a part of daily life for nearly everyone. The degree to which users interact with the water is entirely by choice; a shallow skim of water traces across the walkable stone pavement, water softly spills from the face of a handful of ledges, and frothy jets emerge from portions of the stone pavement.
