The design team was tasked with relocating and creatively reimagining a former open space as a memorial space to honor the lives of women. Over 1500 glass etched donor tiles are located just below the surface of the long crescent-shaped reflecting pool. At night, the appearance is especially striking as the crescent-shaped Donor Fountain is illuminated, allowing the artwork to glow above a base of dark granite.
